How to Become a CTK Youth Volunteer

It’s easy and incredibly rewarding to become a Youth Volunteer at CTK…so get involved! Clothes To Kids is on the approved list for Pinellas County Schools Learning Service hours for Bright Future Scholars, NJHS hours or confirmation hours.

Just follow these simple steps to get started. Remember, you must be in 9^th through 12^th grade to participate in the program.

1. Get all the Bright Future, NJHS, or other paperwork from your school or place of worship.
2. Fill out the paperwork.
3. Download the Youth Volunteer Application form from the website. http://clothestokids.org/youthvolunteer.html
4. Bring the signed and completed paperwork to Clothes To Kids for pre orientation on:
   • Monday’s from 3-3:30 pm
   • Tuesday’s from 3-3:30 pm
   • If these times are not convenient for you, please contact Rachel Thurber at the store, 727-441-5050.
5. During pre orientation you will:
   • Tour the store
   • Meet the staff
   • Learn what the volunteer opportunities are:
     • Tagging
     • Sorting clothes
     • Restocking
     • Store displays
     • Data entry
     • Cleaning
     • Receptionist
   • Get CTK employee to sign your Bright Future paperwork.
   • Sign up for volunteer hours/days in advance.
     • After school between 1:30-5 pm, Monday-Friday
   • Sign up for orientation (must be done within 60 days of start date).
   
   You will get volunteer hours for this pre orientation.
