What are your hours of operation?
CTK is open Monday - Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Client shoppingis from 9 AM to noon.
Who receives the clothing?
Pinellas County children, Kindergarten – 12th grade, that are considered low-income or “in-crises.” A referralfrom a caseworker, clergy or school administrator is required.
Where are you located?
We are located at 1059 N. Hercules Avenue, Clearwater, FL. – Approximately ½ mile north of Drew Street and 1 mile south of Sunset Point Road on the East side of Hercules. Map
Do my children need to shop with me?
It is recommended but not required.
Where does your clothing come from?
Most of our clothing is donated from local families who have children that have grown out of their clothes. Many organizations, churches, schools and corporations help stock our store with clothing drives and through our Clothesline Project.
Where do I take clothing I’ve collected?
Donationsmay be dropped off at the rear entrance of our store located at 1059 N. Hercules Avenue in Clearwater, Monday – Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Map
How do you support your mission financially?
All funds donatedare from individuals, corporations, churches, civic and fraternal organizations and foundations. We receive no federal or state funding.
How do I become a financial supporter?
We gratefully accept all financial gifts. We are a registered 501(c) 3 organization and donations are tax deductible. You may write a check to Clothes To Kids, Inc. and mail to P.O. Box 6123, Clearwater, FL, 33758-6123 or call us for more information at 727-441-5050.
How old do I have to be to volunteer?
We accept only high school youth, 15 years of age or older, to work at the store. Younger children are encouraged to organize clothing drives for us.
Do you accept volunteersthat are in need of court ordered community service hours?
