Referral Process

The following persons can refer a family to Clothes To Kids, Inc.

• A social worker or caseworker employed at a local social service agency.
• A schoolteacher, administrator, guidance counselor or social worker.
• A pastor, priest or rabbi from the family’s place of worship.
• The family may also use the free and reduced lunch acceptance letter for each child as a referral.

All referrals must be on Agency, School or Church letterhead.
Please include the following in your letter of referral:

• Name of parent, address and telephone number.
• Children’s names, dates of birth, and the school they attend.
• A short sentence stating that you know the family and that they are in need of assistance with clothing for their school-aged children.

Please instruct your families to call 727-441-5050 for an appointment and to bring their referral with them.  No other paperwork is necessary.  Parents are not required to bring their children to obtain clothing, however they may.  Clothes To Kids is a year-round program.  Eligible children may shop twice in a 12-month period but must have a referral from one of the above sources with each visit.
